Accountant, Permanent, Full Time, Circa £38k, Oxford, Ref OX327

Due to internal growth an experienced Accountant is sought for this diverse and complex business.  Working in prestigious offices you will initially be working closely with the Departmental Manager, co-ordinating day to day project costings in accordance with FEC requirements.  You will prepare financial reports for funding agencies, analyse financial results for a wide variety of trading activities to establish the profitability of the differing elements.  Management accounting support, budget setting and forecasting year end. Preparation of a variety of summarising revenue generating activities with recommendations for improvement.  Ideally you will have experience of large complex organisations and this would suit a candidate from the public sector industry.  This is a rare but very interesting role where you can add value, full job specification is available on application.

 

 

Office Administrator, Initially 3 months Contract, Full Time, Circa £20k, Oxford, Ref OX326

Our client is a well established organisation in Oxford, they have an immediate need for an Office Administrator to work within a small team for initially 3 months but possibly longer.  The duties will include a full range of administrative and secretarial support activities,including:managing the offices of the Deputy Director and the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. Organising team awaydays, conferences and social events. Preparation of presentations, and agenda papers and circulation, maintenance of appointment diaries and arrangement of meetings, maintaining the filing systems and dealing with enquiries and any other ad hoc duties as may be required.  You will have at least two years experience of clerical and administrative work in a busy environment, with excellent communication skills and a ble to communicate clearly by letter, telephone, fax and email.  Proven keyboard skills and be well organised with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

 

 

Departmental Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA - Fully Qualified, Permanent, Circa £38k, Oxford, Ref OX324

To accommodate growth and development a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Departmental Accountant to work within this historical and cultural world renowned organisation.  Working alongside a small team you will be providing full management accounting support with special emphasis on supporting research grant and revenue generating activities.  Responsibilities will be writing regular reports to accompany financial accounting, annual budgeting, forecasting and year end.  The ability to identify initiatives for enabling improvement where needed and to develop financial reports for use by budget holders and any ad hoc projects as may be assigned.  A minimum of three years experience with a good understanding of IT and financial systems together with strong Excel spreadsheet skills.  You will have excellent communication skills with tact and diplomacy with the ability to deal with a range of demands and establish priorities and effective working practices.  This really is a fantastic opportunity for someone ideally from a public sector/charitable background to grow within the organisation and realise their potential.  

 

 

Management Accountant, Perm, Upto £27k, Oxford, Ref OX312

An opportunity has arisen for a hard working Management Accountant to work within this reputable organisation in Oxford, supporting the Finance and Budget Managers in matters of budgetary and general financial control.  Responsibilities will be for production of the annual statutory accounts, monthly balance sheets including reconciliation of control accounts and production of analysis schedules.  Assist in the preparation of year end accounts, providing analysis investigation and explanations of variances.  With good working knowledge of spreadsheets you will be adaptable, able to prioritise your workload and have the ability to build professional relationships across all levels of staff.
