With all the talk of robots, artificial intelligence and automation in the news, you might think it’s just factory workers and repetitive roles that could be at risk of redundancy as a result. One thing is for sure, our automated, robotic future is on its way and will be here to stay. Some people even believe that every single industry will be affected by this wave of automation, as robots and programming gets faster, smarter and cheaper.
So will executives and C-suites risk losing their jobs too? We believe that companies will always need leadership, strategic thinking, judgment and experience – all irreplaceable by robots – as far as we are aware in the near future!

Do you need a degree to get a good job?
With escalating costs associated with university fees, accommodation and the cost of living, many young people are asking themselves if getting a degree is really necessary in order to get a good job. This BBC article renews the debate once again, based around a recent report from The Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD). The report shows that successive governments keen to boost graduate numbers may have created high levels of over-qualification and skills mismatches, undermining productivity growth.
